Female Hormones in Meat....YUCK!

The female sex hormone estrogen was shown to affect growth rates in cattle and poultry in the 1930s. Once the chemistry of estrogen was understood, it became possible to make the hormone synthetically in large amounts. Synthetic estrogens started being used to increase the size of cattle and chickens in the early 1950s.

Wow....I need to tell my husband to stay away from meat and dairy! High levels of estrogen could be bad for men causing prostate cancer, gynecomastia (enlargement of male breast tissue), mood changes such as depression, apathy, irritability and aggression, weight gain, low sex drive and impotency.

More than a decade ago, Roy Hertz, then director of endocrinology at the National Cancer Institute and a leading authority on hormonal cancers, warned of the carcinogenic risks of estrogenic additives which can cause imbalances and increases in natural hormone levels.

The hormones found in meat and possibly even dairy are causing more girls to start hitting puberty early.... 49 per cent of girls eating more than 12 portions of meat a week at the age of seven had started their periods by age 12 ½, compared to only 35 per cent of those who ate less than four portions of meat a week. There are a lot more cases of even 7 year olds starting their puberty!!!! Only 100 years ago the normal age for puberty for girls was 16 years old.

CANCER causing as well from animal fats........

Dr. Michael Klaper says that many of the diseases his patients brought to his office - clogged arteries (atherosclerosis) high blood pressure (hypertension), obesity, adult onset diabetes, and even some forms of arthritis, asthma, and other significant illnesses - were made worse, or actually caused, by the high-fat, overly processed Standard American Diet (S.A.D.). He has a six part video on what animal meat does to us over time. I only included the video where he discusses the link between animal meat and cancers. It is a bit boring, but full of information on the research he has done.

Even if you love your meat....It would be best to limit the amount you and your family eat each week mainly for health reasons. Try different ways of limiting your meat intake like meat only at dinner time.......meat only during weekends......try any way to have less meat in your diet and your body will thank you.
More info about meat coming soon.........
